Students' Success at Chester

Presentations for the Church Colleges' Certificate in Ministry took place at the University of Chester on Saturday 5th December

Seven students who completed the Church Colleges' Certificate in Ministry were awarded their certificates by University of Chester's Vice-Chancellor  Canon Professor Tim Wheeler.

CCCM is a course run in partnership by the University of Chester and the Church of England.  The course, delivered by Signs of God, is taught in BSL by Deaf and hearing tutors and relies heavily on visual material and interective learning. All the students' assessments may be in BSL and several of the assessments are carried out via group discussion, one-to-one interviews and group activities such as drama.

All the students took part in the presentation ceremony by signing Bible readings or talking about their experiences of the course. After the ceremony was over, the students presented their tutors with gifts to say "thank you"
