Signs of God Teams

Training opportunities

Every year, Signs of God supplies interpreting teams to some of the major Christian conferences and holidays.  The teams are made up of a mixture of experienced, qualified interpreters, trainee interpreters and others who are level 3 holders.  A Team Leader ensures that team members are given work appropriate to their skill and training and then there is teh opportunity for monitoring and feedback for the interpreters.

People who have served on team say it is a great experience.  Working alongside others and learning from discussions with interpreters and Deaf people is invaluable in developing people into good interpreters.

If you have level 3 BSL or above and would like to join the Christian Interpreters' Network, visit CIN on our website by clicking here

This year we sent 20 interpreters to Spring Harvest, 23 interpreters in total to the 3 New Wine events, 10 interpreters to Soul Survivor and Momentum and 9 interpreters to Greenbelt.  We also covered Grapevine, ECG, Roots and the Baptist Assembly.  We are always receiving requests for interpreters so we would love to hear from you if you think you can help.
